I have been waiting and watching the bald eagles that live around my house for a shot of them catching a meal. There are at least two adults and one adolescent that I have seen. When I notice one flying I always grab my camera and run out on the deck to photograph them, hoping to not only see them go in for the kill but to catch them snatching up a fish and getting it on “film.” Well, not film, but on disk. When this guy grabbed his lunch I was so happy, however this happiness was overshadowed with jealousy because it was my husband that was there to get the shot, not me! He was home, I was out at the store, or somewhere other than home watching for this exact occurrence. He got the best shots of this eagle circling and swooping down, catching the fish and flying off. I was so happy for him, and so glad to see this photo! The only thing I did to this picture was crop it and hit the auto enhance button in Photos. Otherwise the pic is as taken. I love it! I am looking forward to seeing this in person, soon!
